Today we went to Te Puia, a Maori cultural center (read: tourist trap). We got to see a performance of traditional Maori songs and dance, which Avery absolutely loved (she was mesmerized by the dancers for the entire 30 minute show!). We then saw some kiwi birds, followed by seeing a thermal geyser and mud pools.
